How it works
You choose a 3D model, we print it in plastic and send it to you. Upload the file, pick a colour and material, and see the price at once.
No model? Here is where to find one
There are hundreds of thousands of free 3D models online, from holders and boxes to spare parts and toys. The most popular sites:
- Printables – large and well organised, lots of practical things.
- MakerWorld – many new and colourful models.
- Thangs – searches several sites at once.
- Thingiverse – the oldest, a huge archive.
How to download a model:
- Search the site for what you need, e.g. “phone stand”, “cable clip” or “hook”.
- Open a model you like and check its size – it is usually in the description.
- Press “Download”. Some sites ask you to sign in; that is free.
- Choose the file ending in .stl or .3mf. If you get a .zip archive, unpack it first.
- Come back to Partpost and upload the file. If the model is too big for our printer, we tell you right away.
On a phone, downloaded files usually end up in “Downloads” or “Files”.
What is worth printing
- A broken plastic part: a clip, a knob, a cap, a foot.
- Holders and organisers: for a phone, tools, cables, spices.
- Hooks, cable clips, wall mounts.
- Boxes and drawer dividers sized to your things.
- Pieces for toys, board games or building sets.
- Parts for your own projects: enclosures, adapters, mounting plates.
About licences
Many models are licensed for personal use only. If you plan to sell the parts, check the model’s licence on its page.
Common questions
How soon will I get it? We make it within a few working days of payment; the exact time is shown with the price. Delivery in Lithuania takes 1–2 working days.
Which material? PLA for everyday things at home. PETG is tougher and copes with sun, moisture and the heat in a car. Not sure? Choose “I don’t know” and we pick.
What if the model cannot be printed? We look at every model before printing. If we see a problem, we write to you with a solution or refund you in full.
Can you print in several colours? Not yet – one colour per part. You can order different parts in different colours.
Can I send a photo instead of a model? No – we need a 3D file. But see below.
Could not find the right model?
If you need a specific part – say, a broken piece you cannot find anywhere – we can model it for you. Write to us: describe what you need and, if you can, add a photo with measurements. We reply whether we can help and what it would cost.
